Havana Tour Information

There are many tours that are offered by the tourist agencies and the resort hotels. Each one is basically the same, and costs around 65-80 tourist pesos, which is about American dollars $100. Tourist pesos are different than the peso used by Cuban's and unfortunately costs significantly more than most currencies, somehow. All tours will show you around old havana and let you stop by the marketplace for shopping. The tour then goes to Havana City for the majority of the time, showing you around the parliament buildings and the inner city, including a cigar factory.

The route of the tour will be through the narrow streets of Old Havana, where numerous peddlers will sell simple Cuban goods. A mosque is seen to the left in this picture.
